Author Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to publish your book?
About four to six months. We sign the contract and officially begin! After a cover design is created, we can begin pre-sales.
How do we get started?
We send a written Publishing Agreement, and once signed by both parties and the first payment is made, we begin the process of publishing your book. In addition, upon commencement of the project, should the need for unforeseen, additional writing, editing, and researching be required, the contract can be amended accordingly to reflect changes in timeline, scope of service, and compensation.
Will Two Sisters promote and market my book?
Yes, we provide and distribute a professional press release. We promote your book on our social media platforms. Elizabeth interviews our authors on her show, Book Talks, on YouTube. And we help you craft a marketing promotions plan utilizing your personal and professional networks.
At the same time, we strongly recommend that you work with a professional publicist or public relations firm to maximize the promotional potential for your book in securing interviews on podcasts and media outlets.
What is the cost for your publishing services?
Please book a call with us to explore the scope of your project so we can determine the best price. If you’re in one of our book coaching programs, including the “6 Months to Book Success” with America’s Book Coach, you get discounts on publishing. Every book is different, and pricing varies accordingly. The base price is for a book up to 250 pages. We’d love to talk!
What kinds of books do you publish?
Most of our books are against-the-odds success stories, memoirs, business books, poetry collections, and provocative novels. We publish inspirational books that have uplifting messages. We do not publish: horror, violence, any messages of hate, crime exposés, or topics that don’t vibe with our philosophy of equality, justice, diversity, inclusion, and women’s empowerment.
